Basic Tutorial To Cartooning

App Name: Autodesk Sketchbook (Version Not Necessary)

Step 1. Open The App

Step 2. Locate Layers Option and click

Step 3. Double click on the only layer shown

Step 4. Select 'Import Photo'

Step 5. Once you've selected a picture, the layer becomes 2.. Now move that empty layer beneath the photo layer n move it to the top.

Step 6. Close The Layers Option, N select that small circle button that is at the bottom of the sketchbook app.. (It is the favourite tools button)

Step 7. Select Pencil or Pen (Your choice)

Step 8. Zoom into the picture and trace it as well as possible

Step 9. After you're done, to see ur traced work.. Open the layers option again, you'll see an EYE sign on the original foto layer, click on it.. (The eye is what makes the layer visible).. You'll now see ur tracing.

Step 10. Locate Your Colour Palette.. (Yes, that rainbow wheel) n select it.. (Make sure that the eye sign you made invisible before, you av now made it visible).. Now select that dropper sign n move it to any part of the picture and leave it.. (That part where you left it, the dropper has automatically selected that colour).

Step 11. Make sure all ur lines connected (of course, I mean your traced lines).. Now locate fill on ur autodesk n simply fill the part needed.. For example, you paint the eye white. The teeth white, the eyebrows black (just like that)

- if your autodesk lacks fill or you cannot use fill, there's another option.. PAiNT. Just select a brush and increase the size n js paint it manually (its tym consuming tho)

Step 12. Save ur work..

How to make your work appear in gallery.
- press options in autodesk
- select open gallery
- locate ur work n click on it
- a SHARE sign (like a triangle) is at the top, click it.
- select 'save as JPEG' and save to device..
